Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. It's been a decent amount of time since I last talked to everyone, but I am excited to be back and blogging. If you guys don't know I have changed the direction of my blog to more of a fashion on a real girl's budget type thing ( at least that's what I am calling it). So I wanted to start off giving some of my tips and tricks to my favorite thing to do thrift shopping. In this blog post I will bring you through some of my favorite ways to find great deals at the thrift store and much more. So lets get started so we can get you out there and thrift shopping.
1. Always wear comfy clothes
This is something important to do because you will be on your feet for a long time. When thrift shopping you are standing going through all these clothes and sometimes you can be there for hours. This is something I like to wear because its comfy, cute and easy to move in.
2. Go with a friend
Going thrifting by yourself can be OK ,but going with someone else is the best way to go. I like to go with one of my best friends because it gives you two sets of eyes to look at things. We have different styles so she will find things i might like and I do the same for her. Another reason is you can swap clothes, if you try stuff on and it doesn't fit you it might fit that person that you went shopping with and it could be an awesome find for them.Another way they can help you is they can tell you what looks good and what doesn't.
3. Try stuff on
I cannot stress this tip enough. In my younger years meaning before I started to do this often I would never try anything on. When I would get home it wouldn't fit and most of the time I never got to bring it back. Now a days I try anything and everything on.This way you know if it looks good,it's your size, and if you actually want to buy it.
4. Get everything
This kind of ties into what I said in tip number three that trying anything and everything on is good. I like to browse and if I see something I think I might like, I put it in my basket. This way you have options, you never know what might look good on you opposed on the hanger.
5. Always check out different brands
I didn't start doing this until semi recently, I just wanted what I knew were designer brands but sometimes clothing might just trick you. Bring your phone so that you can look up the different brands you don't know and see how much retail price might be. One time I did this and got $70.00 shoes for $10.00. You never know what you will find.
6. Pick a good day and time to go
Thrift stores can be super busy at times and you might not be able to get the best stuff. I have found that night time like an hour or two before closing is a good time and Sundays can be a great time as well. Another thing to look for is if certain stores have special deals each day. I know savers have a color of the day, but you have to ask them what it is. Salvation army let you know what color is on discount and what their discount is. The good thing about salvation army is every Wednesday every color but white is on sale so that's defiantly the best day to go.
Thrifting can be a hard thing, most people say to me, I go to thrift shops but I can never find anything. It is all in how you are thrifitng you have to be patient. Some days you can find amazing things and some days are just a bust. I love to go thrift shopping because if you think of it every piece of clothing or item in there has a story to it. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and let me know if you would like to see a video on how I thrift shop.

Such great tips! Thank you!
