3 Winter Outfits For Work

Winter is so hard to have a good outfit for work at least for me. The weather is so cold outside and all you want to do is bundle up in your sweatpants and stay at home. Here I have brought to you three comfy, but cute outfits you can wear this winter to work. The key is to stay comfortable while still looking professional to me that means slacks that are comfy and shirts are my key pieces. Let's get started !

  1. Comfy office

To me this outfit is super cute and comfy, but you're able to wear in the office. The slacks, dress the outfit up, but are a little slouchy. The sweater will keep you warm at work, but still looking cute. The shoes are heels but are comfy and the necklace add a dressed up pop to the outfit.

2. Dress down day

This outfit is dressed down, but is still adorable. The colored jeans, dress up the outfit and the scarf keeps you warm. I wanted to add a simple accessory to the outfit and I love these dainty earrings.

3. Fridays outfit

I think of this outfit ,as a Friday outfit. You're ready to leave work and you can still go out with the girls and look cute.I love kahki pants I think they are super cute and comfy but still keep a professional touch. Adding a jean jacket to this will keep you warm and the Tee has a comfy factor. I love adding heeled boots to an outfit because it dresses up any outfit just a little. Adding a statement necklace to any out pulls a whole outfit together.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Comment down below and tell me what you have for a go to work piece in the winter. I hope  you have a great week.

P.S Tomorrow starts the first day of BLOGCEMBER!!!! Every day in December I will be blogging. They are all Christmas related and am so excited for this. So get ready and make sure to tune in every day.

How to wear a scarf in the fall

My favorite thing to wear in the fall and even in the winter are scarves. They keep you warm and are a cute accessory to any outfit. When I was in cosmetology school one of my good friends told me that scarves were my signature style. Here are a couple of different ways to wear a scarf in the fall. Hope you enjoy and send me pictures of your favorite scarf.

Outfit 1:
"Untitled #35" by lexseeaguilar on Polyvore featuring Peach Couture, Miss Selfridge, MANGO and Ted Baker:
I have fallen in love with this outfit and intend to wear it ( follow my instagram to see my outfits). Blanket scarves are a huge thing in the fall and I have boughten a ton. You can get them at target, old navy, or amazon. Most of the time I think of ripped jeans for the summer time, but have been loving to incorporate them into my fall style. Of course you can't wear a fall outfit without a cute pair of boots.

Outfit 2:
"Untitled #34" by lexseeaguilar on Polyvore featuring Hollister Co., Paige Denim, Xhilaration and Sam Edelman:
Growing up I hated anything leapord , but recently I have been loving it. So I paired this leopard scarf with a chambray shirt and colored jeans. A chambray shirt is a go to for any type of scarf, you can also pair these with any type of statement necklace. I love burgundy jeans they are a go to fall item for me, I have gotten some at the thrift store, but you can also find them at Old Navy or Charlotte Russe. Of course, like I said in the outfit before you can't go wrong with boots in the fall. That's what everyone gets excited for ( or is that just me).

I hope you enjoyed these outfits, if you decide to recreate them tag me on Instagram or email me a picture of them. Where do you like to get your scarves? Comment down below so I can find even more scarves to wear this fall.

How I Plan My Outfits

Hey everyone I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving and if you went black Friday shopping (I did) I hope you stayed safe and got lots of good stuff. So recently I saved  myself a little time in the morning and planning my outfits . I would always be getting ready for work and twenty minuets later I have ten outfits on the floor. If you feel like picking out what to wear has become such a hassle for you in the morning these tips are great for you.

  1. Organize your closet!
This is one of the best things that you can do! Start by doing what ever laundry needs to be done and then organize your closet however you please. I organize it by different subjects such as cardigans,T-shirts,and blouses. You can organize it by color, or just have everything hanging in your closet.

2. Pick a statement piece
When I am choosing an outfit I like to pick a staple piece to base my outfit around. If I choose a leopard scarf  I then go and pick what I want to go with everything. So pick something that you can base your entire outfit by and go from there.

3. Finalize your outfit
Make sure that your outfit is all complete! Look at it laid out or even try it on if you need to. This way you know what it looks like and if it looks good. I tend to just go by the seat of my pants and try new things , but you can decide how you want to do it.

4. Your outfit is complete
I like to plan my outfits for the entire week, but if you want to just take 10-15 minutes that day and plan its up to you. I  plan for the week, so I purchased a 6 shelf organizer to keep all of my outfits in. I put all the accessories that I will need in there as well. When the day comes I just pick up my outfit and I am ready.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post if so leave a comment down below on how you organize your closet. Outfit planning can be a great thing to help you save time in the morning. Try doing it and let me know how you feel. Have a great day and I will see you next time.

Disney Bound Outfits

Hey there everyone! So recently I have discovered a thing called Disney Bounding. Disney Bounding is making a outfit that is inspired by a certain Disney character. It was founded by a woman named Leslie Kay and you can find her site Here. You can wear these outfits on a regular basis and known will know or you can wear your outfit to Disney. So I have never done Disney bounding before ,but I think I did a decent job. Here are the ones that I came up with and let me know what you think.

I came up with four different outfits with four different Disney characters. The ones that I choose were captain Hook,Buzz Lightyear,Cinderella,Maleficent. So here we go!

  1. Cinderella

2.Maleficent

3. Buzz Lightyear

4.CaptinHook

Each and every character's outfit was picked specifically to what they were like in the movie. Captain hook has an anchor because he sailed a ship, Buz has a infinity sign because well he says " to infinity and beyond". I loved making these outfits and will definitely be doing more of these post's. I have based been watching Once Upon A Time and I might do a Disney bound based on that. If you liked this post, let me know down bellow.

Apple Pie Days

Fall is probably my favorite season. I love the weather, food and of course the fashion. Today is a little bit of a different post, but i hope you still liked it. Recently I went apple picking and it was so much fun. Me and my best friend went with her little son. We started off by going out to breakfast and while the eggs were delicious, my water tasted awful . We went to a place in Rhode Island called Sweet Berry Farm, it is so cute and I remember going as a child.

Some old pictures of apple picking from 2011.

Below are pictures from my recent apple picking trip.

I loved going apple picking and it was a blast. We had so much fun and went home and made apple crisp, pie, and caramel apples. Everything was so yummy and warm and gooey. We ended up buying too much pie crust so I got to take one home with me. I was home all alone the following Saturday and wanted to make a pie . So I did !

So after about 40 minuets of my pie out of the oven.  I realized that I didn't bake the pie long enough.I went to cut a slice and the crust was most defiantly not ready and it was still super juicy. So I stuck it right back in the Oven and am currently waiting and praying it will be done soon. I hope you enjoyed this blog post! I will be doing a lot more of these and look forward to sharing my life with you all.
